Match report Aaaargh. Seconds collapse again to lose by 29 runs.
1. Stunning ground and great tea.
2. We lost the toss and fielded first in strong sunshine.
3. Oli Knowles took 5-16 and Ben Brown 3-36. Great Stuff. (The figures tell the rest).
4. They were 39-5 87-8 and 140 all out (i.e. scored a few too many, courtesy of too many 4-balls, extras and a short boundary).
5. Our fall of wickets was 8-1, 9-2, 16-3, 17-4, 25-5, 31-6 with pretty much everyone selling their wicket in a bargain, knocked-down, under the asking price way... until...
6. Guts (44) and Grats (15) put on a storming 67 run 7th wicket partnership to bring Olney back in to contention.
7. Guts got out. Grats got out. Brown and Knowles followed (98-7, 101-8, 101-9, 111-10)
8. Aaargh. Short again.
9. Batting practice needed (see you on Tuesday).
