MK Park 2nd XI v Olney Town Cricket Club Sunday Casuals/League on Sun 04 May 2008 at 2pm
Olney Town Cricket Club Lost by 31 runs

Match report A really good high quality game where boudaries were the order of the day on account of an outfield where we were in danger of losing sight of some of our juniors. MK Park with assistence from a couple of first teamers put on a healthy 203 in 40 overs. Despite a galiant effort all round in particular a great knock of 84 from Matt Goss ably backed up by Paul Winter (35) Olney just ran out of overs despite looking with 10 left they may just get there.

A tidy opening bowling spell from young Joe Rice up against a batsmen whos PAID for playing Saturdays and an extremely good even faultless debut behind the stumps from Christian Smail.

However the result paled into insignificance by the shameful underwear of Richard James - Olney Casuals and especially the youths were never likely to be prepared for the shiny gold sequinned lamé effort masquerading as mens underwear. It was strongly suggested he put them back in the draw before his mother realises they are missing. Shameful behaviour !
